If you are running a small business and need a way to for your people on the road to charge credit cards, there are a number of systems on the market. Many of those systems only support the iPhone though. A new system is now available in the US that will work with other smartphones and it is called the Kudos credit card acceptance kit.
The credit card reader kit is available for computers, tablets, and smartphones that run Windows or iOS, Android and Blackberry OS?. The kit includes a swiper and POS software along with a merchant account. Credit cards are charged at 2.7% plus 20 cents per transaction.
The kit has no limitation on transaction amounts and provides free reporting and statements. The Kudos kit is available for $99.99 and you can get it at Office Depot at a discounted price of $79.99.
