Google?s social networking service, Google+ has been incredibly popular since it launched just over two weeks ago, and according to Paul Allen, the founder of Ancestry.com, who has been researching how many users Google+ has, Google+ is getting close to 20 million members.
Just last Friday, Google officially confirmed that Google+ had reached 10 million users, and according to Paul Allen, Google+ will hit 20 million users by the end of this week.
According to the recent report Google+ was close to 18 million users on Monday, after 750,000 new users signed up on Monday, and if this rate continues it could mean that Google will be well over the 20 million users by the end of the week.
These are pretty impressive figures for a new social networking service, and it looks like Google+ may already be more popular than some of Google?s previous efforts.
It will be interesting to see how fast Google+ grows over the next few months, and whether Google will be able to develop Google+ into a real competitor for the worlds largest social networking site, Facebook.
