The Droid RAZR Maxx was announced earlier this month and now Verizon has announced that the handset will be available on its network from this Thursday the 26th of January.
Verizon Wireless will be offering the Droid Razr Maxx for $299 when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier and it is basically a Droid Razr with a larger capacity battery.
The Droid RAZR Maxx comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and it features a 4.3 inch qHD touchscreen display, plus an 8 megapixel rear camera which can record HD video in 1080.
The device features a 3,300 mAh battery, which will give you up to 21 hours of talk time as opposed to 12 hours on the original Droid RAZR, it also comes with 32GB of storage, 16GB built in and 16GB with a bundled microSD card slot.
