I can?t believe how young some kids are when they get smartphones and tablets. Manufacturers are aware of this and are creating tablets designed specifically for kids in mind. Mostly they use games and movies, Tom Galle and Raphael Halberthal created the iOS app, Maily to open up some communication.
Maily is an email app designed for children. It teaches them how to send and receive emails, with a very visual design for kids to send email messages to their friends and relatives. This involves colorful markers, stickers and fun backgrounds. Parents will be able to monitor the messages being sent and received and can fill out a list of contacts that are allowed to send messages to their child?s account.
The app is free right now. Head over to iTunes to get it.
