Wandboard has unveiled a new addition to their product range this month with the launch of the new�Wandboard�Freescale i.MX6 �developer board, that will start shipping next month for around $69.
The�Freescale i.MX6 is supplied without storage and is equipped with a�modular�designed allowing you to upgrade its RAM and processor when required by simply changing the card.
The�Freescale i.MX6 �developer board is powered by a�Freescal i.MX6 ARM Cortex-A9 single core processor, supported by 512MB of RAM, together with connections for HDMI, USB, microUSB, audio Jacks, and a serial port. However the developer board does not support wireless connectivity, and no Bluetooth support if provided.
A version is also available for $10 more, called the�Wandboard Dual, which is equipped with a i.MX6 dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and operating systems can be run directly from the SD Card reader on both versions if desired.
