It?s a sad day for Medal of Honor fans. EA has announced that it is shelving the Medal of Honor brand and series of FPS games indefinitely. Looks like you?ll be playing Call of Duty instead.
The publisher said that recent games in the series have failed to sell well, and the critics gave very poor review scores for Medal of Honor: Warfighter. I guess that was the last straw. Peter Moore, COO at EA, said that Warfighter?s reviews were ?lower than it deserved.?
The Medal of Honor series has been going since 1999. It has had quite a run. Over the last 13 years there have been 14 games that carried its name spread across multiple formats like the PC, Mac, PlayStation, GameCube, Game Boy, PS2, PSP, Xbox, Wii, PS2, PS3, and Xbox 360. Farewell Medal of Honor.
