LG is not a company that shies away from the limelight, considering how they have been working hard to make a name for themselves in the world of consumer electronics and have largely succeeded, although their line of smartphones do leave something to be desired. Well, today we will not touch on yet another Android-powered smartphone by LG, but rather, will take a look at new IPS monitors from the South Korean company that boasts of Cinema Screen design alongside MHL connectivity.
The IPS7 Series are said to deliver superb colors that are so close to real life, and when you couple that with a stylish design and smarter connectivity options, most folks would say that this is capable of delivering the ultimate entertainment experience which does not tax your eyes too much ? although I am quite sure that your bank account is going to take quite a hit in the process. Let us learn more about what the new LG IPS monitors are able to deliver right after the jump.
First launching in the Asian markets of Korea and China (Hong Kong included), the IPS7 series will feature LG?s very own CINEMA SCREEN Design, offering a near invisible bezel design for an unobstructed entertainment experience and a sophisticated, modern appearance. Not only that, you get lifelike color consistency and representation across a wider viewing angle, while the Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) makes it a snap to hook up external devices such as smartphones to deliver an immersive viewing on a larger screen.
The bezel measures just 1.2mm thin, and the overall depth of LG?s IPS7 monitors has also gone to the fat house, experiencing a reduction to a mere 14.1mm. As for the streamlined metallic stand, it creates an aesthetically sharp profile while the cable management feature further enhances the visual appeal.
You can choose from 23? or 27? models, where either one come with 1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 250 nits of brightness, and 5ms of response time. Any takers?
