LG Unveils PZ850T TVs with Touch Pen Drawing Action

LG has unveiled a new line of TVs called the PZ850T Pentouch TV. The sets will come in 50-inch or 60-inch screen sizes. The big feature is that the screen comes with a digital pen that the users can draw on the screen with. It looks sort of like a TV version of the Paint program on your PC.

LG has the nice and small pic above to show kids happily drawing on the screen making little doodles. I think LG is missing the big marketing push here. I can see two clear and popular uses for this if you can draw on live TV images.

The first is all football fans can mark the plays as if they are an announcer. The second is with the presidential elections coming up we can draw horns on the devilish candidates. That second one will sell a lot of TVs. The sets are also 3D capable and use active shutter glasses. Only one set is included and the screen will hook to your PC too.
