The Galaxy Nexus release date has changed more often than achameleonsitting on a color wheel.
Originally believed to launch today, December 9th, on theVerizon4G LTE network, a brief outage earlier this weekcouldbe to blame for a delay. We had heard that the Galaxy Nexus would arrive on December 13th, but that date looks like it will pass by without a Galaxy Nexus release.
We have just heard from multiple sources that the Galaxy Nexus release date for Verizon has been the rescheduled for Thursday December 15th.
This new release date comes from multiple authorized Verizon retailers indifferentstates. When one of our staff stopped in to ask about purchasing the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon, the employee looked down at her screen and told him that the Galaxy Nexus should be available for purchase next Thursday, December 15th.
This is great news for the many users who have been waiting and waiting forwhatlooks to be the best Android phone to arrive on Verizon this year.
The Galaxy Nexus has a 4.65? HD curved display, 4G LTE connectivity, 32GB of Storage, Micro SD card Slot, NFC, 1GB RAM and a 1.2GHz dual core processor. The Galaxy Nexus will be the first phone to run Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, on Verizon?s fast 4G LTE network.
Check out a Hands on Video of the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon, which shows the speed of the 4G LTE network.
Stay tuned for more Galaxy Nexus news.
