The latest ad for the Apple iPad mini is out and it shows the GarageBand app which turns the mini tablet into a working keyboard for those who are musically inclined. You might recognize the tune as ?Heart and Soul? and the duet starts with the full-sized Apple iPad playing the left hand followed by the right hand part being played on an Apple iPad mini.
Very clever. And all designed to remind you that you can now buy an iPad mini and fourth-generation Apple iPad. They are both now available in the Wi-Fi only configuration. The former costs $329, $429 and $529 in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions. The fourth-gen iPad is $499, $599 and $699 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models.
The tune is almost a hundred years old. Back in 1938, no one could have guessed that it would be played on fancy ?magic? tablets one day. It makes you wonder what we will be playing music on in the next century.
