Google Goggles Update Adds Support For Non-Autofocus Cameras And More

Google has rolled out a new update for their Goggles Android application bringing a number of new features and tweaks for users.�Google?s latest Goggles App update has now added support for non-autofocus cameras, and the Search-from-camera feature within the app, no longer requires search history to be enabled.

Other features include faster, more robust object tracking in ?continuous? mode, more extensive barcode coverage, as well as a new feature that when Goggles fails to find an exact match, it will now search for products that look similar.

If you haven?t used Google Goggles the free application will allow you to ?Search by taking a picture: point your mobile phone camera at a painting, a famous landmark, a barcode or QR code, a product, a storefront, or a popular image. If Goggles finds it in its database, it will provide you with useful information.?

The latest Google Goggles Android app is now available to download from the Google Play store for free.
