The 6th generation Apple iPhone is rumored to be introduced on September 12th, the same day it might be available for pre-orders, so some carriers and retailers are beginning to cut the price of the Apple iPhone 4S so that they can clean out the inventory before the actual launch of the Apple iPhone 5.
This is great news for the consumer. Radio Shack which is cutting the price of the Apple iPhone 4S by $75 to $125 with a 2-year contract starting on Sunday. That price is for the 16GB version. The 32GB model is cut to $225 while the 64GB model will cost $325. The two latter models will also require a signed 2-year contract.
The discount is good for new customers and existing ones. If you don?t want the newest model, this is a good time to get an iPhone.
