With it being the summer season it is common for people to go on vacation. Taking photos is always a great way to remember the sights and memories from your vacation. More than likely the photoscould use some editing and iPhoto is great for that.
Editing photos in iPhoto for the iPad is much nicer than on the small iPhone screen.
Luckily Apple has built into iPhoto a way to transfer photos without the need for an internet connection. That way you cantransfer pictures evenif you are in a bad signal area or your iPad is WiFi only. This method shares photos between the iPhone and iPad directly not with the Photo Stream.
How to Share photos with Beam
To be able to share photos between the iPad and iPhone be sure to have iPhoto installed on BOTH the iPhone and iPad.
Once iPhoto is installedOpen iPhoto on your iPhone and iPad.
Tap on Settingsand setWireless Beaming to ON for both the iPad and iPhone.
How to Select the Photos you want to Beam
Tap Share.
Tap Beam.
Next selectChoose.
Select the images you want to beam andTap Next.
Make sure both devices have iPhoto open so that the iPhone can find the iPad.
Select your iPad and then hit Beam Photos.
Tap Yes on the iPad to accept the transfer,
Your Beamed photos will appear in the Beamed album shown below
Beaming photos between the iPhone and iPad can be very convenient especially in a place with no WiFi or poor 3G. This way vacation photos can be transferred and edited with very little hassle.
